This Dorset wool is suitably soft for baby while still not prone to felting, so these blankets will stand up to gentle everyday use and be ok to go through a cool, gentle wool cycle in a lingerie bag in the laundry machine and then hung up to dry. But since wool naturally repels bacteria you don’t need to wash these nearly as often as cotton. (In fact, unless they are stained we recommend just a bit of fresh air and sunshine to refresh your blanket!). Convenience and heirloom quality to pass to the next generation!
