This worsted two-ply that has just enough twist to show off our fleeces’ luster while still retaining the bounce we associate with Romney fleeces. We named it after 1275, one of the matriarchs of our natural color Romney lines. Her fleece is actually in this lot of ‘1275 – Harbor Seal’, along with Scarlet and Scrappy (she has an incredible fleece despite her unfortunate name!).
Harbor Seal is a 2oz skein.
All other skeins are 3oz.
This bouncy yarn has less twist than Lustre and Marie and really fulls up nicely after blocking. It is soft enough for cowls & hats in cold weather.
We also like it for mittens or sweaters and vests.
